Lyne F.C going forward and looking for new talent.

With the 2009/10 season coming to a close, Lyne F.C are already planning for next year with the intension to improve further the service we give to the membership, become even more progressive on the training ground, and of course become even more successful  on the pitch.csclubs.jpg

This season has been outstanding for Lyne F.C with the Club achieving F.A Charter Standard, teams being entered into the Surrey Youth League for the first time, a team being entered into the East Berks League on a Saturday and of course teams in the Surrey Primary League where it all started.

imagescak5o1p7.jpgAdded to the above we have agreed an affiliation with Hampton and Richmond Borough F.C which are members of The Blue Square Conference and Suburban Premier League. This affiliation will give the opportunity for members of Lyne F.C to progress to the highest levels of football locally and also give every member free admission to all Hampton and Richmond Borough matches accompanied by a paying adult.

Another great addition to the opportunities Lyne F.C offers to its members at the age of 15 plus is Knaphill F.C with whom we have recently forged a link to give those members that are not quite ready for Blue square or Suburban an option of youth football in the Allied Counties Youth League.

knaphill.jpgKnaphill F.C have just created a new youth structure for the coming season (2010/2011)and Lyne F.C are pleased to endorse their ideas and progressive vision for young players to reach the highest levels of football to which abilities allow.

Equally at Knaphill F.C have senior opportunities in the Combine Counties League at reserves and 1st team levels .

So as you can see by Lyne F.C forging affiliations and links with the right sort of progressive clubs with the right people involved, Lyne F.C members have fantastic opportunities to achieve and develop to a level of senior football which befits their ability levels.

Lyne F.C will also continue to ensure that all our financial income goes back to our members and football. The clubs recognises that our members need good pitches to play and train on, good coaching and good equipment, but the most important thing which doesn’t cost any money is a great environment to progress, enjoy and play football in.lyne f.c badge.png

With our coaches totally committed to the development of our members, the whole Club will continue to train throughout the summer months with an aim to being even more successful in the up and coming season.

The books are now open to new members at all age groups, so if you are interested in joining a  local club, that has both eyes open with one focused on enjoyment and the other focused on progression.

Lyne F.C challenging for top spot!!! PDF Print E-mail

Lyne F.C are challenging for honours in 2010!!

8 out of our 10 sides at Lyne FC are in the top three of their Divisions and in a strong position to collect silverware at the end of the season.

Lyne FC  roundup.

The Under 9’s Lions have had a tremendous start to their first season of competitive football, they sit top of their Division in the Surrey Primary League.

The Lions have only lost one League match, so far this season and are averaging an incredible 4.2 goals a game.
Matt the Manager has a truly talented bunch of lads and I am sure they will do very well this season and win their first silverware early next year.

The Under 11’s Panthers are a newly formed team for this season at 7-a-side.
Joe the Manager has done a fantastic job in getting the team together in the latter part of the summer and started the season with only a handful of players.
The Club is very proud of the Panthers achievements, so far and the introduction of a number of girls into the team has been a big boost the Panther’s and Club.
I am sure if the Panther’s continue to progress they will secure their first victory in the very near future.

The Under 11’s Jaguars had a similar start to the season with a very small squad, but this has now expanded thanks to Mark’s hard work.
The Jaguars are sitting in third place at the moment and with the hard work continuing, the Jaguars will be in jockeying for honours   at the end of the season.

The Under 12’s Pumas are the first ever team from Lyne FC to enter the Berkshire League, and are proving to be a great success.
The Pumas moved up a division after three successive large victories, since then they are doing the same again in the division higher and are already in second position, and as yet unbeaten.

Ian and Phil have done a fantastic job in putting this Saturday side together. The whole idea of Saturday football is proving to be a massive success.

Once again I would expect with things going well, Silverware and honours to be won by the Pumas at the end of the season.

The Under 12’s Vapour’s this season are playing their football in the Surrey Youth League which is also another first for Lyne FC.
The Vapour’s knew this season was going to be stepping stone to a much stronger League, but the Vapour’s had nothing to fear as Ian and the player’s hard work in the summer has paid off.

The Vapour’s are second in the division at present and are in a good position to achieve silverware in 2010.

The Under 12’s Predator’s play in the Surrey Primary League in a very competitive division and they are proving, as per the other under 12’s,  that they will not be outdone and are presently sitting third in the division.

Phil has continued to progress the lads and I have a feeling they too will have a very strong shout at promotion and honours this season.

The Under 13’s Predators also play in the Surrey Primary and seem to get stronger and stronger as the season progresses.
Mick has done an outstanding job in putting this squad back together and I am sure with no doubt in my mind,  they will gain promotion and silverware this season.

The Under 16’s Silver team has been going for some years and thoroughly enjoying every match they play in the Surrey Primary League.

The Silver team is currently 5th in the division but, my tip is they can produce a shock in their division and I predict they can gain honours this year.

Pat has done a sterling job over the years and deserves silverware in his vast cabinet at home.

Under 16’s Elite (S.P.L) the newly named Elite team in the Surrey Primary League are sitting top of their division and are looking to gain promotion to the Premier League.

This team has improved tremendously and has shown all the hallmarks of a top side.
Dave has worked constantly with these lads to build a desire from the boys, to win every match and I don’t think that will change in 2010 and expect silverware from this side at the end of the season.

Under 16’s Elite (S.Y.L) The Surrey Youth Elite team has had a great start to the season and is currently third in very competitive Premier division.
The Elite team has strengthened their squad over the last few weeks and things going well will be battling it out for first place at the end of the season.

An outstanding half year of achievement!!!

Lyne FC is the new Club on the block and as you can see after reading the above we are quickly becoming very successful.
This is due to good Coaches, generous sponsors, very kind helpers, committed and flexible parents and of course honest and genuine boys and girls that enjoy playing the great game of football.

Can I take this opportunity to wish the coaches, helpers, sponsors, parents and most importantly all Lyne players a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Thanks for making all this possible.

Seasons Greetings

Nigel

For and on behalf of the Lyne FC  Committee

PS : A note to committee members,  I feel we might need to buy a large trophy cabinet in May!!!
