Important Information

Please note, all Lyne FC team names and forums have been changed to the 2010/2011 age names.

Also, for all Team forums, the threads have been pruned so threads not started/updated in the last 30-60 days have been removed. Due to our success, the database was getting so large it was causing a few issues.

Any issues, let me know.

Lyne Under 10's Continue Club's Success Lyne, May 20, 2008 - Lyne FC’s Under 10 Cardinals continued the Club’s winning streak when they lifted the trophy at last weekend’s annual Farncombe Youth Football Tournament.   The Tournament, staged at Meades Park, attracted some of the top teams from all over Surrey providing a real challenge for Lyne’s young stars. Of the three Under 10 five-a-side teams entered, the Predators and Vapours were unfortunately knocked out in the qualifying and Quarter final stages respectively. However, the Cardinals really had the bit between their teeth and cruised to the semi-final before beating home favourites Farncombe 1-0 in the final courtesy of a Nick Sharples second half winning goal. Richard Ayres, Under 10 coordinator and Cardinals coach said “The boys were totally focussed on winning the tournament before they even started. The team spirit and commitment was unbelievable. We’re very proud of what they achieved.” This latest success follows Lyne Under 14 Elite’s recent victory in the Surrey Primary League senior cup final demonstrating that Lyne FC is a club to watch for next season. Winning Team: Harrison Ayres, Ryan Ash, josh Cole, Nick Sharples, Jordan Hopkins, Patrick McNicol.  For further information about the club see www.lyne.co.uk
